If you were to look at Barber’s Instagram account, you will notice that she loves to go to one place in particular. Any place that has a lot of water. Barber spends a lot of time at the beach and by the pool. One of the things she likes to do when she’s there is, naturally, go swimming. Barber has posted several photos of herself in the water, under the water, diving in, and just lounging. “Individuals of various ages, body weights, and health conditions can experience health benefits from swimming. Because performing exercise in water can decrease the impact of body weight on your joints, swimming can be an ideal form of exercise for achieving many goals, ranging from heart health, weight loss, pain management and arthritis management,” says the Cleveland Clinic.

Swimming isn’t the only thing Barber likes to do when she goes to the beach. She’s also a big fan of going paddleboarding in the ocean. Barber has posted several photos of herself paddleboarding and lying on the board in the ocean on Instagram.

Barber doesn’t just like doing activities in the sun and the warm weather. She also likes to spend time in the snow. One of the things that she loves to do in the snow is go skiing. She posted this photo of herself skiing on the slopes on Instagram. She captioned the photo, “Today has been an incredible day of skiing. Powder snow freshly fallen, we have floated while we covered each km of the slopes.” “The best equipment from a protection standpoint that you can get in alpine skiing is a helmet,” he says. “You want to make sure that you have equipment that fits you, that’s well-tuned, that the bindings are set appropriately for your weight and also for you ski level, so that it functions and releases when it’s supposed to be releasing,” says Dr. Jonathan Finnoff, a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist at the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center.

Barber doesn’t skip leg day when she works out. In fact, she does some pretty difficult leg exercises when she’s working out her lower body. She posted this photo on Instagram of herself in a lunge, while using a resistance band, and standing on a medicine ball. Barber appropriately captioned the photo, “Today, more and better.” She also posted this photo on Instagram of herself doing a lunge at home, captioning it, “No excuses.”

Barber is a big fan of practicing yoga. She was seen on Instagram doing different yoga poses with her friend. Yoga has a lot of benefits for your body. Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is a great way to warm your body up, build muscle, and can even help with injuries. “Slow movements and deep breathing increase blood flow and warm up muscles, while holding a pose can build strength. Yoga is as good as basic stretching for easing pain and improving mobility in people with lower back pain.”
