Allen County: The Allen County Archers hold 3-D shoots the first Saturday and Sunday of each month through September. It is open to all equipment. They are also holding traditional 3-D shoots on the fourth Saturday of the month all year long weather permitting. They are open to all archery equipment. The Archers will be holding a “stump shoot” for traditional bows only the fourth Saturday of each month weather permitting. Go to or call Neal Wallace at 567-825-7109 for more information.


Delphos: The 12th annual Nathan Miller Memorial Tournament will be June 3, 4 and 5 at Stadium Park. The tournament is a 16-20 team format for boys ages 11-12 years old (age cutoff is March 1). The tournament will be pool play with a three-game guarantee. Players must be from the same school district. Awards will be given. Cost is $200 with a $50 non refundable entry fee. Lima: Kids will be taken through a summer of discovery from June 6 until Aug. 19 at the Lima Family YMCA at 345 S. Elizabeth St. Space is limited so parents are encouraged to register early with camp packets available at the YMCA desk. Cost is $85 per week for members and $110 for nonmembers. Lima: Registration for the 6 on 6 spring flag league for boys and girls ages 6-8 is available until April 3. League play begins April 18. The coaches meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 4, and practices are set to start the week of April 11. Cost for members is $25 and $50 for non-members. Sign up at or the Y located at 345 S. Lima: The Lima Senior High School Athletic Department will hold its annual Reverse Raffle on Saturday at the American Legion Post 96, 711 S. Shore Drive. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 6 p.m. The first raffle ticket will be drawn at 6:30 p.m. This year’s reverse raffle payout is $5,000. There will also be a live auction, Spartan Auction and other games of chance. Tickets are $100. The price includes entry and food for two people and one entry into the reverse raffle. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win. Tickets are available at the Lima Senior Athletic Office during school hours. Checks should be made payable to Lima Senior Athletics. Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers, located at 1815 C St., have openings in leagues and doubles. Open doubles begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays. Corn hole leagues are forming. Van Wert: Paul Keels, the play-by-play voice of Ohio State football and men’s basketball on the Buckeyes radio network the last 24 years, will speak at The Niswonger Performing Arts Center at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 10.

Tickets, which cost from $19 to $29, are on sale.


Lima: Pickleball is played at Bradfield Center from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. All skill levels are welcome.

Lima: The Lima YMCA is holding open pickleball play from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (appointment only). Free for YMCA members and $3 per visit for nonmembers or $20 per month for nonmembers (unlimited play). Individuals can register online at Call 419-223-6045 for more information.


Spencerville: The Summerfest 5K Run will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 25. Register at by June 18 for $15 with shirts available for $10. There is an online entry fee. Lima: The Lima Sabres have various shooting events. Thursday Trap Practice for Adults/Juniors/Beginners is 4 p.m. weekly. Adult Trap Practice is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, weather permitting. All trap sessions are open to the public. For additional information, go to or visit on Facebook.


Lima: WAR Wrestling Presents Nobody’s Fool on Saturday, April 23 at Empowered Sports Center, 1730 N. Union St. (formerly Northland Bowling Center). Advance tickets at Groamy’s CD’s & Tapes, 1206 W. Robb Ave., and at Tickets are $18 for VIP and $12 for general admission (four for $40 general admission) and can be purchased at the door. VIP doors open at 5:30 p.m. and general admission doors at 6:30 p.m.. Wrestling is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.


Lima: The Lima Family YMCA offersclasses for adults, including karate, swimming, Water Aerobics, arthritis aquatics, chair exercise classes, yoga (chair and regular), HIIT, BodyPump, Yoga Pilates Flow, core workout CX, combat, Zumba, cardio and tone and cycling.
