According to Celeb Health Magazine, Cox has green juice regularly. Mae Alexis, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach with Nanala Cove says, “Drinking green juice daily provides you with vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants and nutrients that are essential for your body & brain. It also is full of fiber and can help you flush out toxins in a more effective and timely manner.”

While the Scream star loves to bake sweet treats, for the most part, she eats a clean healthy diet with plenty of chicken and veggies. According to Kimberly Marsh, MS, RD with the Low Iodine Dietician, eating basic, “whole” foods is always a good idea because you will be more in control of the calories you are eating. You can control the amount of fats, sodium, etc that are added. Whole grains, such as brown rice, quinoa, and oats as well as plenty of vegetables are great whole foods.” She adds, “Vegetables are great sources of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. These vitamins and minerals are important to keep your body running at its best. They help you efficiently burn calories and have energy for exercise as well as your everyday life. The fiber keeps your digestion regular, which makes you feel better and less bloated. Fiber also helps you feel full longer, so you eat less snacks between meals.”

Lago MS RD LDN with The Mental Wellness Dietitian states, “Balance and Moderation are key when it comes to losing weight and staying in shape! Practicing mindfulness while eating is a great way to balance your nutritional habits and enjoy foods that nourish your body as well as treats that you find enjoyment in that may not be as healthy.”

Celeb Health Magazine reports Cox loves doing yoga and Heather Carroll with A Balanced Life Training states, “Yoga is a must in any training regimine. It truly brings the breath, body and mind together. As you become more efficient with your practice, you are able to really become more aware of your body and its signals. You find balance, core strength, flexibility, more supple muscles and joints! Your mind also learns how to focus on the body and the breath, leaving behind the outside world and to-do lists for a while. Yoga is very physical and focuses on correct muscle use and alignment. It is a great way to see if you are compensating for an injury or a muscle that’s not firing properly. The holds will help to train the muscles and strengthen them. It definitely makes a longer, leaner look to the body.”

The mother of one is always on the move and does everything from cardio to surfing to dancing and spin class. Alexis explains, “Simply put, SAID is the answer. ‘Specific Adaptation to Imposed Demands.’ Your body, just like your brain, needs new stimuli in order to grow and improve. To put it in a not so conventional way, your body gets bored and will start to function sluggishly and less efficiently if you’re not frequently switching things up on it. Also, you are less likely to be motivated, from a mental and mindset standpoint, if you’re not continuously being challenged in some small, new way. That’s just how we are built as human beings. It’s funny how we fear change, yet change is the very thing that keeps us alive and thriving.”
