Students at Winston-Salem State University will soon have more healthy eating options available to them due to a new initiative.The Chris Paul Family Foundation (CPFF) partnered with Koia Drinks to announce the first rollout of Koia vending machines at HBCUs.Students will be able to buy protein drinks as well as school supplies. To celebrate the newest addition to campus CPFF, Koia Drinks and local Mike’s Vegan Food Trucks sponsored an event during Saturday’s home basketball games. There were giveaways that included Koia protein drinks, CPFF notebooks, logo stickers and T-shirts. The foundation also provided 100 vegan burgers courtesy of Mike’s Vegan Food Trucks.
